Oundle
A delightful, thriving market town with buildings dating back from the 17th, 18th and 19th century. Market Day is Thursday with a selection of at least 20 market stalls.
Oundle’s famous public school has its origins in the 14th Century. The school is now Oundle’s largest employer and numbers Sir Peter Scott the naturalist as a former pupil. Oundle Museum is on the outskirts of town and exhibits trace the history of the settlement over the last 2,000 years.
Tranquil paths and bridleways following waterside routes make perfect walking conditions for those wishing to take a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk.
